As my lovely, lovely recruitment agency decided to wait until yesterday with calling the revenue office to set me up as an employee I'm still on emergency tax and will be broke for another five weeks. Nice, thanks for that. Couldn't have made a bit more effort with Christmas coming up? No?
My decision to stay home for two weeks feels like a good plan.
